Help needed for Compete Novice re Aqua One F103 internal filter

Hi new to all this, purchased an aquarium in March, it came with filter which was nice and bubbly, however stopped working properly so shop replaced it with (similar) filter, this one does not bubble much it is like a little jet stream at top of tank. Not sure if I have I set it up properly! Please would someone advise whether this is ok, the water at the top of the tank is agitated slightly.

Should be fine, there is no real need for bubbles as long as the water surface is being agitated.
