Aquarium Advice Regular
Okay...I started a small 10g tank last May and I think I've finally started to get the hang of a freshwater tank. At least...my fish are happy. Right now, I have plastic plants because I thought that starting with live plants would not be the best thing for a beginner.
However, here is my ultimate goal...
I want to own fancy goldfish in a 55g aquascaped with real plants. So...I am on a fact finding mission!
I don't plan to actually begin any of this until after the New Year, so I am taking the time, until then, to learn everything I need to know about taking care of underwater plants. I want to know about lighting, substrate, different kinds of plants that work well or decently with goldfish, how to trim plants, what kind of filtration should I have, etc. There is so much to learn and I want to start now. So...hit me with everything you know...I'm taking notes!
Ready, set...go!
