How do I get rid of soap residue (bucket) ?

My sister decided to use the bucket I have set out specifically for water changes.

Any ideas?

Adding activated carbon to your filter will help remove any toxic chemicals from the water. Also, doing water changes (with a non-soapy bucket of course) will help as well.

Are you trying to clean the bucket for future use or did your tank get residue in it because of the bucket?

Hot 1:10 bleach solution and then copiously rinsing should render it safe.
