how to breed betas

so i have a male red beta in a 5 gallon and a female wild beta. can i breed them? how do i breed them? i also have a 10 gallon tank i could use to.

The tricky part with bettas is the male does not always "accept" the female. They just have to pair off.

I've read that people put a separation (see through) between the 2, and they get used to each other and pair off.

But Caleb is right, they may not accept each other.
