Is christmas moss low light, medium or high?

Yes--it's a fairly low-light plant. They keep it in my LFS in a 10-gallon with a 15-watt standard fluorescent strip. You can look this up online, too.

They had some christmas moss at the plant auction with my local group. They actually had some really rare plants and good deals! I was drooling... but alas my tax refund hadn't hit yet
