If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I also love Rummynose tetras. Im planing to have 2 big schools of tetras, One rummynose and one Kerri.

Then I will add some Rainbows (I do't know which ones yet), and more Angels to see if I can found a pair for mine.

Finally some Khuli Loaches and more corys;)

I pick the tank up today, spend most of my day cleaning the tank..... A lot of algae and calcium, I cleaned with diluted vinegar, and I rinsed a lot, finally I used. Razor blade to try to remove the remaining calcium.
The tank s good, minor scratches in one size, but I will flip it around tomorrow.

The plan tomorrow is to add the PFS, decorations and fill it with water......PRIME, and let it run for 12 hours with an uncycled filter, just to try to eliminate the possible cloudiness, then I will add the cycled filters, and 8 hours after I will start to acclimate my fish and transfer them to their new huge home!!

What a Sunday! I finished the tank, so far, I'm still not fully happy with the appearance but was a huge task.

I follow the advice of transferring the fish from my 26G tank to the 100G tank just after 12 hours of the set up. I'm using my cycled filter. This is what I have so far:

100G tank with new PFS substrate, no real plants (yet), just plastic, 4 pieces of driftwood, and one stone. The tank was used, bought it through Craiglist, 2 heaters, two canister filters (one JEBO 838 with 375g/hr and one RENA xP4 with 475g/hr), one airstone. My fish are:

1 Angelfish
7 Rummynose tetras.
5 Golden white clouds.
5 Julii Corys
4 Panda Corys
1 Siamese Algae eater
2 Neon tetras

I kept running a 10G tank that I will use as a QT tank, I'm planing to add more fish slowly, once I confirmed that the tank doesn't experience a mini cycle or something like that. I'm planing to get my fish from Severum mama, because I just hear great things about the quality and service that she provides!!.
I will post my readings as soon as I measure this morning. Also I promise a picture, I could not take it yesterday, too tired!
Thanks to you who are following, and helping me, with this thread!!

Congratulations! Can't wait to see the finished result! I love big tanks with community fishies, so different from the usual cichlids and such. :-D

Thank Carey! Yes I'm planing to have a big community tank. I just finished the readings, after 12 hours with the fish in, all survived (so far), the readings (API liquid test) are:

0 ppm Ammonia
0 ppm Nitrites
5 ppm Nitrates (maybe from the water from my old tank? I transferred like 20G from my old tank)
0.25 ppm Phosphate.
7.4 pH
Temp 78 degrees.

So far so good, pictures tonight!!!

i've heard ppl doing it and there's even a thing on petco about an amazon biotype sayng get a 30 gallon with either a pair of angels or discus

I have a breeding pair of discus in a 30. Anything bigger is going to be too big for the fries and unnecessary That's just what I read when I did some research on breeding discus.

Neons are a natural food source for angels. They will be eaten :(

I'm planing to start with plastic or fake plants, I'm still not ready for Real plants, but I will start to read and learn more before I decide to go that route...
Today I have in the tank:

1 Angelfish
7 Rummynose tetras
5 Golden White Clouds
1 Siamese Algae Eater
5 Julii Corys
4 Panda Corys
2 Cardinal or neon tetras (Don't remember the difference)

I'm planning to add first another school of tetras, Kerri, and later some nice rainbow fish, Like the gertrude rainbows....

Very very nice :) I think it sounds good.

Cardinals are bigger than neons :p
