How many neon tertas can i put in my twenty?

What else would be in the tank? Is it a regular 20g, 20g long, 20g extra tall?

Regular. Pleco, two Mollys, two plats, algae eater.

First off what type of Pleco and what type of algae eater? A common pleco gets way too large for a 20g and chinese algae eaters often just sold as "algae eaters" also get large and aggressive to boot.

You could do 12 neons as they have a low bio-load but if you have the species above you really need to rehome them.

Its Chinese. And my Pleco is the common one from walmart, I'm keeping him in there until he gets bigger then ill move him.
