New Coral

Bought this coral, but of course cannot remember the name. Also, there is a smaller piece that is coming off the base - can I frag that one? If so, how?

That's called Xenia. Place it next to a rock you want covered in it and let it do the rest.

Good question thanks for asking it, as I have the same thing, although they called it a pipe organ.

Mine are hard (stoney), that makes mine a pipe organ for sure.

This stuff grows fast and tends to grow upwards towards the light. I would place it low. I would also suggest you place it on a rock that's away from the main pile of rocks, so it doesn't spread to places you don't want it to.

Do they pulsate? Looks like they could be anthelia. Either way they both grow like weeds except xenias look a lot better when thriving.
