New Neons :D

because this hobby is new to me my family didn't get any gifts relating to it sadly...

However as of yesterday I am the proud new owner of a Red Honey Gourami, named Spot (because I'm strange like that lol)

Hopefully either today or some time soon I will be getting a few Amazon Swords and the 3 Glowie tetras I've been waiting to finish quarantine at the LFS

Another day of fishy retail (been stressed so I deserve it!)

Well today I bought a "ELITE STINGRAY 5" filter, this will be used for extra filtration on my current tank but when I get my small tank for a Betta I will be transferring it (and probably buying a new one if i like this one)

I also bought 3 nice Anubias Barteri? Which will be attached to a new coconut cave I made, my piece of mopani will be adorned with one and the final one will be near the cave I bought for spot

Once I've place em I'll add pics, here are a few pics of unboxing my new filter

Neons are great fish

I now have 8 neons, 3 glow lights and a honey gourami in my tank.

I also have 2 filters and a few live plants

How long you had your tank for mate?

Vallis? I'm not sure what that is lol (assuming plant )

From what I've found it seems to be suitable in the lower light I have in my tank.

And I am needing plants to replace my plastic fantastic lol.

Now comes the important question, what will this cost me? Lol

Hi just P/M me your address and that's it NO COST the plants would only end up on the compost heap so its nice to know some one can make use of them

Wow my phone is slow with the updates!!

I've PMd back, erm the fish and snail are doing well. Having a bit of trouble getting the gourami to feed as the neons snap it all up.

Getting more hikari pellets soon do that should fix this issues
