Pleco disease, help appreciated.

Hey guys my Red Whiptail Pleco has a kind of white lump over one eye, the other is still the same, he seems to be behaving very erratically, and it is possible that his stomach is a little swollen, although I am not sure about that last bit.

Any ideas? He is a beautiful and much loved fish who I would hate to loose...

Is it a growth like a tumor?

Sometimes, tumors pop up on fish. It's not common, but not rare either. Often caused from genetic mixups, mismatches, etc...they can sometimes be harmful and sometiems not.

Test your water and see if anything stands out as being wrong. Is he eating well, got plenty of room, etc?
