But yes his points are accurate. Nothing new that I'm not aware of.... these EBRs are locally bred so I'm hoping its not a weak line.

but unfortunately, you are not going to really know the genetic health of these fish, local or not. Being that they are not natural, their genetic strength could have been compromised just to create the new color so no EBR is going to be genetically "strong". Not knowing much about the fish myself, I can't say much more than that. But if an average lifespan of other EBRs is only 6 months or even a year +/-, compared to wild fish ( 3-4 years depending on who you read
), these have to have been compromised in their creation.

And Poppa, kids grow before your eyes and you don't even know it. Last week, I was diapering my daughter. Yesterday, I was dropping her off at college. Today, she's graduated college, found a job, got married and has already been married for 2 1/2 years. I don't know where the time went but it definitely went.
