power head choices

I have a 50gal tank. It measures 30" long, 18" wide, and 20" tall. I have an Aqua clear 30, (160gph)and Maxi Jet 600 (160gph) in there right now. I am thinking about replaceing the Aqua clear with a Maxi Jet 1200(295pgh), and adding ANOTHER 1200, so I would have 2 Maxi Jet 1200s, and a 600.

The way I am thinking of having it set up is with the 600 set to blow length wise behind the rock work, and a 1200 each in the back corners pointing towards the middle point on the front glass.

Sound good? Too much? Recomendations would be great. Thanks!!

Maxi jets are great. I like your plan.

It shouldn't be too much from what I hear, just as long as they're not pointing directly at anything fragile. I have a 55G and two MJ 1200's and my LFS is recommending more powerheads for me.

What about a Seio M620 and a Maxi Jet 900 pointed directly at each other from opposite ends of the tank?
