I love both cichlids and black ghost knife fish. Both of which are either not compatible with my current fish or there is no room in the tank. If i were to start a cichlid tank, how would a black ghost knife fair in the mix?
I am always getting very mixed opinions from everyone i ask.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

Was thinking the same thing hopefully someone comes along wit some info

What kind of Cichlids are you talking about?

Not 100% because i havnt searched around that much for them and need to do more research but at the moment i am interested in electric yellow labs, convicts, blue zebras and tropheus duboisi.

Personally is stay away from rift lake Cichlids and even the more aggressive sa/ca Cichlids and amazon river Cichlids. They need soft water so sa/ca or amazon Cichlids would probably be the best so research those. There are some really cool african river fish.

species I think might work include
Apistogramma
Pelvichromis
Steatocranus
Herotilapia
Cleithracara
