quarantine snails?

I asked the guy at the fish shop today if you should quarantine snails.

He said "no we only have apple snails"

I think he thought I was asking for a kind of snail called a "quarantine snail"

Anyway, I put the 2 apple snails I got in my quarantine tank since they were in a tank with fish at the shop. Is this necessary?

Probably not required, but it can't hurt. I put everything in a quarantine tank for about a week after losing 3 fish. Better safe than sorry!

I didnt with mine and she was fine. But better do. Also found eggs after a month and now baby snails.. im selling them to the store when they are a little bigger since i dont like them everywhere on my tank.
