Stocking questions, in need of some AA knowledge...

I have a 20 long and Im still in the cycling process cycling with 4 danios. Been dwelling on wht type of fish I want to keep. These werent fish I wanted to have in my community at first but now they have grown on me. I was just going to use them for cycling because of their hardiness. With all that being said, I want to keep the danios but I kind of want to avoid having all tiny fish in my community. my questions are what is a good community fish that dwell well with a school of danios that arent so small, and my second question is can danios school with something like barbs or tetras? The other fish I know I want to keep are some cory cats and a pleco so I want to consider these as well. Any ideas and info will be appreiciated, thanks.

How bout 5 danio 5 small tetras a bristlenose pleco and a dwarf gourami with your cories...pretty heavy stocking but doable

Go with a honey gourami they are generally more peaceful.
