Tips of Riccia are curling

So.......Inever seen this happen before.....maybe someone else has?

I'm very curious as to why it's curling.

Wow, that's interesting. I've only seen Riccia do that when I had it in a bowl of water with a hot light right above it. Is the Riccia near the surface and close to the lights?

no idea, but it looks really neat!

Ya Travis..........it's at the surface under a 65w CF.
It's been there for a few months and it's the first time I see this happen.

My first thought would be a deficiency (doesn't lack of calcium make tips curl?) but knowing your tanks and how slow Riccia grows I'm stumped.
