Wish to house with a female betta

Hey guys~

I tried to house a female betta with a school of neons but she was taking bites out of them. I have a 5 gallon tank ready for her and I was wondering if anyone knows any other fish I may be able to place in there without worrying about her bugging them too much and vise versa.

It's probably worth mentioning she doesn't bug my bristlenose pleco and cories. Just was pushy with the neons especially when it was feeding time.

Bettas male and female will readily murder anything that swims mid and top water with them.

I wouldn't chance it. Bettas are known to be aggressive towards tank mates, especially brightly colored ones.

Plus 5 gallons is really to small for anything else IMO
