hmm i think we might have to get another.we have 2, and the 2nd one we bought to replace one who sadly died ( poor thing swam into the filter outlet before we learnt our hard lesson & covered it with mesh), has grown bigger than our no1 & chases mr smaller around whenever he strays too...

i think it can also knock off the good bacteria in your filter as well which may cause problems.... we used the stuff once when we started out & what a nightmare the tank was navy blue for weeks ( we did check - we did get the right dose) poor fish swimming around in the dark even with the tank...

hi there, both our yoyos were skinny little slips of things when we first got them but it didnt take long before they 'filled' out around the middle. theyre both around 8cm long now & about 2.5 cm at their widest around the girth. as said by others they love love love bloodworm (we use frozen)...

hmmmm that tank water + unmentionable nasty stuff that comes out of the gravel is never good in your mouth............been there done that & also bucket clips!!! get one ive done the hose slips out of bucket tank water on floor routine too :D :D

as above - use an algae magnet ( get at any lfs) or a scraper to get any algae off the inside of the glass :wink:

hi have read lots of posts where maracyn,maracynII & other similar meds are recommended for various ailments for fish. ive never seen them here in the uk the only thing we can get nearby is interpet meds which we have had varying success with but what i dont like about interpet is they dont...
