I'm not the expert here with Freshwater systems, my tank is pretty much self-sustaining at this point. Frequent water changes, C02 and ferts for the plants along with lots of light and my tank looks like it does.

I don't really do much other than pull a ton of plants out every month and aside from that its just water changes and keeping my ferts flowing.

I did some pruning over the weekend. I need to post some pics. The tank is looking pretty nice for not doing much to it in a long while. I'm on the market again for some interesting fish as signatures for this tank. I'm bored with the guppies....

Yes I have but they tend to do better in brackish water rather than fresh. They go into freshwater spawning.

The one I'm thinking about live in freshwater and go in to blackish water for sporning Iv got 10 of them funny little guys and there grumpy little faces

I do not. It grows like a weed and I toss more out monthly than what you see in the tank now....

How many are there. hair grass is what I'm failing with I get little spouts but more dyes off than grows

Either you do not have enough lighting or you do not have CO2/Ferts.

So the tank is a total mess...I need to get in there and trim some plants!

I think the thing I like most about the tank is the mixing foregrounds. I'm definitely going to try that.

Well this was my first attempt at a truly high tech planted tank. The foreground bit just kind of happened. I like how it has turned out as well.
