I have a friend with a beautiful crowntailled Betta. After she saw my 10g planted she wanted one for her Betta. We found a decent little 2g tank but Im stumped as to what to do with it. I've never aquascaped something that small with lots of plants.
She isn't up to dealing with co2 and fertilizers so this will be another low tech Walstad set up. The following is the list of plants I currently/will shortly have available from my tank:
Anubia nana
Java fern
Java moss
Tiger Vals
Star grass
Merino balls
I probably could get others either at the lfs or online but we are trying to do this fairly cheap.
I was thinking of using that spray on rock paint to make the back wall look rock then some how use java moss to make it look like a mossy rock wall I've done this sort of thing with polystyrene and real rocks before but I think that would take up too much room in the tank. would that paint be safe on a plastic tank?
If anyone has any ideas that would be great.
