Whats up all, I have a 36 gallon and I was curious what else I might be able to add fish wise to the tank if at all possible.

Currently I have
-4 cory catfish
-2 small plecos
-3 Dwarf Gouramis
-2 Bumblebee gobys
-2 bamboo shrimp
-2 amano shrimp

Now I was thinking of adding a small school of maybe some neon tetra or a type of barb.

Any advice would be great!

Looks like a pretty good Bio-load already. you have more fish in that than I do in my 55 gallon.
Questions:
1. how long has the tank been setup?
2. what is your Nitrate level, ammonia level. and Nitrite level?
3. is it a planted tank?
4. how often do you perform water changes?
5. What type of filtration do you have?

Id say you can, just make sure your tank levels stay the same. Im looking to add some small school fish to my 29 soon as well.

The tank has been setup for about 2 months now. Nitrate and nitrite levels all good, however yes there is quite a bio-load already. I found that the gourami produce a good bit of it, thankfully I have a gravel vac that I use daily. It is a planted tank and I supplement the water with leaf zone. I have a 40 gallon filter with activated CO2 and a long airstone under the substrate. Currently I have to go back to college next week so I was gonna wait to put the school in so I can monitor it daily. Water changes every other day, about 30-50%.
