How is my set up? This is my 30 gallon lake malawi cichlid tank. I have a red peacock, a cobalt blue, an acei, a red zebra, a kenyi, a livingstonii, an albino red zebra, and 2 common plecos. And I am upgrading to a 75 gallon as soon as I get the money

I'd recomend a better filter like a marine land/ what size is your tank

Put a marineland c-160 canister filter I have one water is clearrr

Maybe add some sand to the pebbles. I find it to be a nice look.

Also if it's a grow out tank you need some more to hold aggression back

I keep a API superclear 50 on my 30c I frickin love that filter. It's amazing. It even has a little month/day adjuster so you can keep track of your last cartridge replacement/maintenance. As far as the aquascape goes, love it.

One note though. Careful with the baby above, make sure to always change its diaper or else it might drop some ammonia to the tank
