I got my new led today, a current freshwater +. This thing is awesome, 6500K, customizable and has weather effects. My fish are probably super stressed right now, I played with the different thunder storm settings for about 15 minutes before I tuned in the color.

Welcome to 2014 gillie:D they're great lights, grow plants like a champ too! I don't mess with the effects much.. havnt touched the remote in months actually. . Dim that baby at first, may be seeing some algae depending on tank height. .
I have a finnex stingray on this tank, great little low light rig..

Quick shots.. the corner of fry.. how fast will a colony crop up on decaying almond leaves?? Does it just occur? They seem to gravitate to this corner.

I'll try for it later, they're in stealth mode now.

I found a few, they hug the dw, colored in very dark as to camouflage. Pretty cool! Pic quality sucks, had to 4x zoom it.. glass could use a scrub too..

Now gillie, say 5 or 6 make it to sex able size, can I leave them as a colony or will they fight each other?

The adult pair would definitely destroy them unfortunately, but if the tank was much much bigger, then things may be different.

That's the reason I was saying that first month was so important, they will be pretty much on their own now.

There's 2 generations now, maybe 5 or 6 2 month Olds and the new batch.. is that going to be a problem? I can't get them out of there..
