Packing tank help

Hi all!

I’m going to be moving within NYC in a few weeks. I’m wondering if anybody out there has any recommendations for companies/individuals who might be able to help me pack up my tank.

Any input would be great!

Get a box with foam blocks and stick your tank in it, the foam will make sure the glass doesn’t break, when you’re moving your fish I’ve seen multiple youtubers stick their fish in an ice box with water and stick it in the back of their pickup, but that’s just a suggestion

I'm pretty sure moving companies are experienced in moving aquariums. All you have to do is just ask them what should be done ahead of time and they should be able to handle the rest. Just verify their insurance coverage. Be aware that if you pack it, their insurance will not cover any damage. If the company packs it, it is covered under their insurance.
