Ok so i decided just to replace the clown with new clowns

New Clowns

FTS with lights on

You see that brown around the clam is that normal i dont remember if the clam came like that or not.

the clowns are getting along fine no fighting at all(i took a hour to choose these two from the store)

suppose to be a purple digi but the tank where i got it from had it under a powerhead so it browned out.

I like the new clowns, have you seen any dominance displays yet? When I frist got mine one would turn on it's side and twitch to the other one, it was pretty neat to see, and eventually they mated up! Good luck with these two. Also that Clam looks awesome and I like where you placed it!

Thanks, and yes, the little one always twitch for the big one, I'm just glad their not beating on each other. The clam went to several spot until I found a good place for it, I loved that clam Im planning to pick up another one pretty soon. I've also added more LR into the tank recently so its crammed in there.

btw, I just noticed, from the pictures it looks like your clowns have hosted the magnet on the glass. Do they always stay close to it?

No they are all over my tank, it just everytime i take picture they go there.

Does the light fixture leg sitting that far out frighten you? I would be worried about it falling into the tank.

It looks like its gonna fall but it actually extend into the tank pretty far its on pretty good i've bumped into it a few times already and it doesn't fall but im getting a new fixture today already im getting one with built in moon lights so this one will go into storage.

Yes more corals will be in later when i get my algae under control its brown and hairy.

well a lot been happenning

Ok haven't updated for a while so its time for one sorry no picture update right now nothing to show off. Well lets start, I lost all my sps but two pieces are still hanging in there, my clam is doing great and so is all my other corals. Problems i've been having, still battling brown hairy algae, red bug, and flat worms. Red bug and flat worms are almost beaten, only see a few here and there. My small clown went through my overflow down to the sump and into my mag5 so i lost it, and took the second clown back to the LFS.

Okay now for better news. Picked up a cleaner shrimp and is doing great. Picked up a medium size maroon then decided i want a pair of clown not one so i put the maroon in the sump for now and i picked up a mated pair of false percs with a GBTA(happy where it moved to, away from everything in a corner). Cut some pexiglass from work to make another overflow. Gonna move the tank again(to the living room) and setup a second 10 gallong tank(dont know what to do with it yet) sharing the same sump. And this is about it.

I will not be doing a sps dominated tank anymore im doing a mixed reef with only a few sps like two or three.

I already have over 20 snails in there they just all go to the top of the waterline. And my nem is actually doing very well.

Im really not sure where the maroon is gonna yet but ill find a good place for it soon.

Really, i've never heard that before i guess i learn something new today but im pretty sure its not my water quality though its probably something else. But ill go pick up some more snails pretty soon.

The brown hairy algae is going away slowly from what i can see but now i see a few spot of green hair algae which i dont know why im getting all these algae cause i feed only 3 time a week lights are on for 8 hours a day and change my water once every 1 1/2 week. But oh well ill keep working on it.

And for the 10g that will be up soon i have decided it will be a seahorse tank just a pair of a smaller specimen, with nothing but macro algae so it would work as a fuge too.

ok plan change and the new ten wont be up anytime soon but i found time on my hand and put up a little ATS very quick to see how it works nothing fancy ill get picture later as its late right now.
