yes that filter does have panty hose on it to slow the current.

I like the bettas colors!! Have you named it?

no i havent named either of my bettas. but my snail is named the mock five. he is very very fast.
i am thinking of splitting my big tank and putting my new betta in there in about a week or so.

any ideas on names for them?

I think it would be great if you could give your other betta a place in the tank if you divide it. He'll like the heater and the filtered water.
