Stocking 28 gallon tank

Right now I have 6 lamp eye tetra and wanted your opinion on what fish would go well.

Mine never picked on anybody else, they just picked amongst themselves. So, you're pretty open as to what else you'd like in the tank. Is there any specific species you were wondering about?

I'm not arguin and I won't get angels, but the tank is a bow front and is as tall as wide

Black skirts would be fine in there, but beware, they can get really big. My husband's first fish were skirts and they got HUGE! He had a 26 gallon at the time and they barely fit.

My pH is at 7.8 and I researched they need at most 7.5, will this be ok? I also wanted to know if I could add some Platy or mollies, a swordtail and a gourami as a centerpiece fish?
