Sometimes, I'll dip a plastic cup into one of my tanks and use the water for my plants. I store the cup under the tank so there's no chance that I'll ever use it myself...yeech!

I would totallyy take a drink of my tank water....if I ever wanted a case of tape worms or nemaotdes ect.-> seriously, Ive seen at least 2 cases of parasites in my tank that I know of, mabey 1 or 2 that could mess me up. People always say that you can not get diseases ect from your tank bbut you sure can get tape worms, and on simply discus, people have CLAIMED that large scale keepers/breeders have been afflicted by something->but Im not sure to the truth of that.

Anyway, if I ever get a mouthfull of water, i gargle vodka for like 5+ min, and i hat liqour.
