The tank I'm getting comes with a normal strip hood light do you think I should stay with that for now or I was looking at the zoomed t5 lighting.and also what should my stock be like with some hardy corals and my fish I have a maroon and damsel now but what else

What about the marineland double bright LEDs I have that right now

It doesn't depend on how many watts there are, but the spectrum/PAR value. I don't think the marineland double bright LEDs is capable of growing corals. I have heard bad reviews that they are bad quality LEDs.
These are the lights I use and my lfs uses the same exact fixture and they have beautiful corals in that tank:
T5 Tek Light Fixture - Bulk Reef Supply
An aquaticlife fixture or other T5 HO would work too and are usually cheaper than LED. If you have the money though, you should get a reef capable LED light that has great reviews and specializes in lights (or they are known for lights).
