Convict's First Go at a Planted Tank

Some updated pics. I think I see new new growth but I'm not sure. Been a rough day, my mom was rushed to the hospital. She has hydrocephilus, epilepsy, psoriatic rheumatoid arthritis and fibro myalga .. neuropothy...

Anyway... She's doing better just all the **** treatments and medication lower her immune system so we go through this every once and a while but this one is a little harder, she was rushed ALS(advanced Life Support), they had her in ICU but now moved to a room of her own. So... Today has been a wonderful day of surprises. Not to drag anyone down with my issues so I apologize. I'm just grateful the good Lord above decided she should stay here to break my chops for a while lol....

Sorry to hear about your mom. Hope things turn around for her.
Just checked in to see your updates. Down the road It would be nice to see the FTS side by side to see the progress. If things keep up your rocks won't be visible; that's fine...you can pull them out for your NEXT project :)

Glad to hear your mother is doing better!! I have psoriatic arthritis as well and the meds are rough and nasty on the immune system for sure but I can't imagine how life would be without them.

I have been lurking on your thread from the beginning of this journey and look forward to coming home and reading all the new changes with your tank. It's truly inspirational!!! You have hubby scared now because my MTS is kicking in and I now want another tank haha. Keep the updates coming!!
 
Thanks everyone for the wishes, there much appreciated. I'm gonna put a side by side shot now. I have an app I think lol.
 
I can tell there has been growth in many of the plants. It's only been what, 3 weeks? They are doing really well and tank is looking good!

Hope mom gets to feeling better you know I can sympathize!

DO NOT think for one second that your are dragging us down with anything! We're all here for you! I'll be praying for your mom and your family. My Daddy (yes I still call my father Daddy because I will always be a Daddy's girl) passed away last October and having that phone call that they are going to the hospital is never easy, I know.

Always enjoy pictures of your tank!
