Hey, I have a question about Cory Cats.

I am interested in starting a 14 gallon aquarium from one of those kits at walmart or something, As due my lease, anything 15 gallons or higher is not allowed in the apartment complex.

In a 14 Gallon, What would you consider the best cory cat? I hear panda's are the best as dwarfs are pretty rare in my part.

I know they like to school as well, What number should i have in that size tank?

Would it be ok to have an apple snail or ghost shrimp with them?

The only cories suitable for a tank that small are hasbrosus or pygmeaus. Pandas get over twice the size of these and I wouldn't consider housing them in a 14 gal tank. Corydoras are extremely active catfish that need to be kept in groups of 4-6. IMO it's just not fair to keep a larger breed in a tank that size.

I know the little dwarf cories can be hard to find, I just got some myself via internet order, but they are about the cutest dang things I've ever seen :)
